There are a lot of things I love about Matt, but one of the things I love most is that he can cook. I mean really cook. He sharpens knives, makes his own pasta, and the best Fillet Mignon I've ever eaten. Ever.
I think he mastered the skills when he spent a stint working as a waiter at the Tree Room in Sundance, Utah. He hung out in the kitchen and learned culinary secrets he won't even share with me, which is fine because I get to reap the rewards of not knowing.
On special occasions, he always pulls through with a delectable meal. This year I was treated to grilled steak with a raspberry chipotle glaze, garlic mashed potatoes, and a vegetable medley. For dessert, mango & berries with angel food cake.
Matt, I'm so grateful that I don't have to choke down a Happy Meal on Mother's Day.
You'd make a mighty fine wife .... if you weren't such a manly man.
